Foundation Training (Posture Strong) is about taking control of your posture.
Everything we do is either building us up or breaking us down. This becomes a lot more apparent with decades of ingrained patterns and habits. Foundation Training is a unique combination of prehab and rehab, meaning it both prevents and helps treat pain and injuries.
Foundation Training works with all bodies to…
1) Counteract the daily grind
Phones, computers, and commuting have created postures and patterns that lead to degeneration. Learn how to position yourself and move in a way to counterbalance what is destructive, making modern conveniences a tool rather than a threat.
2) Participate in life without pain
Don’t buy in to the idea that getting older means falling apart and/or giving up what you enjoy doing. Your body is always adapting, ready and willing to change if you offer it the right input. Lifting heavy things, be it tree branches, groceries, or children, should be moments in your day when you feel strong and capable. Exercise should be a pleasure with your focus on exploring rather than avoiding.
One-on-one sessions get deeper into your posture & patterns as we work to deepen your connection with specific ques, hands-on assists and posture-assessment.Book private foundation training
The theory of CranioSacral Therapy states that there is inherent health expressed by rhythmic impulses in the body that can be palpated by sensitive hands.
These tiny motions initially arise at the core of the body and involve the central nervous system, the cerebral spinal fluid and the surrounding tissues and bones, including the bones of the skull and pelvis.
This is referred to as the Primary Respiratory Mechanism. These motions have important physiological functions for the maintenance of health. If they become congested or restricted, the basic ordering principle of the body becomes impeded and health is compromised.
Some common causes of restriction or resistance to these subtle motions of the body are physical injuries, emotional and psychological factors, birth trauma and toxicity (to name a few).
In Biodynamic CranioSacral therapy, I seek the clearest and most dynamic expression of health. And through subtle skilled touch, conscious presence and listening, freedom in the body can be restored.
Fluid flow is normalized, and thus intrinsic healing follows.
In one sentence: All living tissue breathes and if there is any place in the body that is not breathing there is a problem.BOOK CRANIOSACRAL SESSION
For those who cannot find a healer in the vicinity, or are not comfortable with the ones they know, using Distance Healing can be extremely useful.
In the world of energy there is no such thing as time or space.
Distant Healing (absent or remote healing) is a method of bio-energy healing at any long distance. It is based on the quantum physics discovery that energy is not restricted to any time and location.
Healing by bio-energy at any distance helps you to tap into that and learn to perceive or read energy and work with it. With distant energy healing, energy is controlled and can be guided by mind.
Here’s how it works:
I visualize the person to whom I want to send healing. If I have not met you, having a photo is extremely helpful to bring your image in my work process. After a short conversation on the phone, I will instruct you to lay down in a quiet, comfortable place where you will not be disturbed for a period of 40 to 60 minutes. Then I sit and begin to work by listening and receiving energetic information on the state or condition present.
During this process there first is a release of weak, ill, congested or stagnant energy or blockages stored in the bio-energy systems. Then the system goes into a still point where cleansing starts to happen and the system is able to balance and normalize itself on the natural midline.
You may feel many different things during a treatment, but afterwards you ought to feel relief, more clarity and centeredness.

What is Structural Integration?
Through the course of our lives the connective tissue in our bodies, (fascia) gradually shortens, tightens, disorganizes, and adjusts to accommodate misalignments from injuries, poor posture and the demands of our daily lives. We simply get banged around in life.
SI is a system of 10 or more progressive treatments to improve posture and correct alignment by manipulating, lengthening, and realigning fascial tissue. SI provides relief for the effects of misalignment due to gravity, hard physical work, stress, disease and injury.
What does structural integration feel like?
This is considered deep work but it is not deep tissue massage. The experience is entirely subjective and everyone has their own response to this work. Some feel momentary discomfort while others feel immediate relief. Most everyone feels a deeps sense of freedom and continuity in their body after a treatment. The depth and pressure is based on your needs, preference and feedback.
The benefits of structural integration include:
- Improved well-being
- Relief of pain
- Happiness & freedom
Who benefits from structural integration?
- Men, women, children, pets.
- People who enjoy yoga, meditation, martial arts, climbing & mountaineering
- Dancers, artists, athletes, musicians, runners, carpenters, business people, engineers, scientists, golfers, computer geeks, mechanics, philosophers and teachers! (to name a few)
Structural Integration can help with the following issues:
- Back pain
- Cervical pain
- Chronic pain

“I have Parkinson’s Disease. In the spring of 2013 I began preparations for a transition to assisted living. I suffered from frequent falls and had constant tremors in one hand despite taking standard treatment medication. It was then I met Brooke, and my life began to change. Through her help I started to regain my life. I am off all medications and nearly symptom free of Parkinson’s. Working with Brooke was the key to starting and maintaining this ‘turn around’ and keeping my independence. Thank you Brooke!”

“I initially went to Brooke for the 10 series, which totally changed my body and alleviated much of my chronic pain. In the past 7 months, I’ve been incapacitated by auto immunity and chronic fatigue. Whether it was Craniosacral, Structural Integration, Massage or a combo of such Brooke helped facilitate my body’s return to natural balance. Brooke is a wonderful listener of words and the unspoken language of bodies. I highly recommend her as a healer. KZ of Boulder, CO After 12 leg surgeries I was left with a prosthetic knee, a lot of chronic pain and not much hope. Working with Brooke changed my life. It has been a number of years since my sessions with Brooke, not only have I saved money by not needing extra care but I can dance with freedom now.”
VC of California
“I came to Brooke with a fairly healthy body aside from a neck that would painfully go ‘out’ often. I enjoyed her ten series enormously, it felt wonderful and completely right. She had great insight about my body and she created an atmosphere that left me feeling comfortable and light-hearted. It wasn’t until a few weeks after the last session with Brooke that I realized that I hadn’t felt any pain in my neck whatsoever. I found it very interesting that my neck felt so healthy that I completely forgot that it was an issue at all. I attribute this solely to Brook’s gifted work.”
